Stock lots for African importers, sourced in Asia and shipped from Dubai
You buy for a shop, a market stall or a distribution business somewhere in Africa. We find new surplus goods in five Asian source countries and move them to the port that serves you.
Five source countries behind every African order
Every lot we offer African buyers comes from Bangladesh, China, Vietnam, Cambodia or India. Each source country is strong in different goods, so the right lot for Lagos may come from a different factory belt than the right lot for Nairobi.
- Bangladesh. Knitwear such as T-shirts, polos, sweatshirts and kids basics, plus woven shirts, trousers and denim. Cargo leaves from Chattogram.
- China. Footwear, bags, home goods and mixed general merchandise, along with apparel. A wide spread of factory clusters and ports.
- Vietnam. Garments, sportswear and footwear from the belts around Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, shipped from Cat Lai, Cai Mep or Hai Phong.
- Cambodia. Garments, footwear and travel goods made around Phnom Penh, shipped through Sihanoukville with a transshipment.
- India. Cotton apparel from Tiruppur, home textiles from Panipat, Karur and Solapur, kids wear and leather footwear.
If you are unsure which origin suits your market, read how the five source countries compare before you ask for offers.
Routes by region and the port that serves you
Most of our African buyers sit behind one of six port groups. Landlocked markets use the nearest corridor. Pick your country below to see the port, the paperwork and what to send us.
| Region | Main ports | Country pages |
|---|---|---|
| East Africa | Mombasa, Dar es Salaam | Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda |
| Horn of Africa | Djibouti, Berbera, Mogadishu | Ethiopia, Somalia, Djibouti |
| West Africa | Lagos, Tema, Abidjan, Dakar | Nigeria, Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal |
| Central Africa | Douala, Matadi | Cameroon, DR Congo |
| Southern Africa | Durban, Luanda | South Africa, Angola |
| North Africa and Red Sea | Alexandria, Port Said, Port Sudan | Egypt, Sudan |
Uganda takes cargo through Mombasa or Dar es Salaam. Ethiopia relies on Djibouti, with Berbera as a second corridor. Mali and Burkina Faso are served through Dakar and Abidjan. Chad and the Central African Republic are reached through Douala. Eastern DR Congo usually comes in from the East African ports, not Matadi.
Why Dubai sits in the middle
Dubai and Jebel Ali have served East Africa and the Horn as a re-export hub for a long time, and dhow cargo from Dubai Creek has gone to Somali ports for generations. For you this means two choices. A single large lot can ship straight from Chattogram, Ho Chi Minh City or an Indian port to your port. Smaller lots from several origins can land at Jebel Ali first and leave together in one container. We confirm the route and documents per shipment, because schedules and transshipment ports change.
Conformity programmes you will meet
- Nigeria. SONCAP certificate for regulated products and Form M through an authorised dealer bank. Check the import prohibition list by HS code first.
- Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda. Pre-export verification (PVoC) run by KEBS, TBS and UNBS for regulated goods.
- Ghana. Ghana Standards Authority checks on regulated goods.
- Egypt. GOEIC registration of the foreign factory or brand owner, plus ACI pre-registration on the Nafeza platform.
- Francophone and Central Africa. Cargo tracking notes such as BSC or ECTN for Côte d’Ivoire, BESC for Cameroon and FERI for DR Congo. Angola asks for a CNCA certificate.
- South Africa. SARS customs registration and country of origin labelling on textiles, clothing and footwear.
Our step-by-step guide to importing stock lots into Africa puts these in order with the bank and customs steps.
New goods only, and where our role ends
Every lot is new and unworn. That means export surplus, cancelled orders, production overruns and end-of-season stock. Some lots include B-grade pieces with minor faults, and we tell you that before you commit. We do not trade second-hand clothing, which several African markets restrict.
Global Pioneer has no office, warehouse, licence or agent in any African country. We work from Falcon Tower in Deira, Dubai, and ship from there or from the source country. Your clearing agent handles customs at your end.
Read this in French or Arabic
Buyers in Dakar, Abidjan and Douala can read the French guide to stocklots for West and Central Africa. For Egypt, Morocco and Sudan there is an Arabic page for North Africa. To see how Africa fits with our Gulf work, go to stock lots for Saudi Arabia and Africa.
More African markets we ship to
We also cover Morocco through Casablanca and Tanger Med, Rwanda on the Northern and Central corridors, and Zambia through Dar es Salaam or Durban. For the Sahel, read our French pages for Mali and Burkina Faso. Each route is confirmed per order.

Do you supply stock lots to African countries?
Yes. We supply new wholesale stock lots from Bangladesh, China, Vietnam, Cambodia and India to buyers in East, West, Central, Southern and North Africa and the Horn. Lots ship from Dubai or straight from the source country to your port.
Do you sell second-hand clothes or bales to Africa?
No. Every lot is new and unworn, such as export surplus, cancelled orders or overruns. Several African markets restrict used clothing, so keeping our lots new also makes clearance simpler for you.
Which African port is best for my stock lot?
Use the port your clearing agent already works with. East African buyers use Mombasa or Dar es Salaam, the Horn uses Djibouti, Berbera or Mogadishu, and West Africa uses Lagos, Tema, Abidjan or Dakar. See the table above or the import guide.
Is it better to ship via Dubai or direct from Asia?
Direct works when one lot from one country fills your container. Dubai works when you want to mix lots from several origins or when your corridor already runs through Jebel Ali. Kifayatullah confirms the route for each order.
Do you have an office or agent in Africa?
No. Global Pioneer has no office, warehouse, licence or agent anywhere in Africa. We trade from Dubai and ship to your port. You or your clearing agent handle customs and inland transport.
Who arranges SONCAP, PVoC or a cargo tracking note?
It depends on the country and the lot. Tell Kifayatullah your country and HS codes early. We confirm before shipping who arranges the certificate or tracking note, so the container does not arrive without it.
Can I mix goods from different source countries in one container?
Yes, if the lots are consolidated in Dubai. For example, Bangladesh knitwear and China footwear can leave Jebel Ali together. Compare the origins on the source countries page.
How do I start an order for Africa?
Send Kifayatullah your country, port, category and the type of buyers you serve on WhatsApp or by email. He replies with current lots, packing lists and photos, then confirms route and documents in writing.
