New stock lots for Dar es Salaam and the Central Corridor

You trade in Kariakoo or supply shops further along the Central Corridor and need new goods at lot prices. Here is how Global Pioneer ships to Dar es Salaam.

Short answer: Global Pioneer supplies new wholesale stock lots to Tanzanian buyers from Bangladesh, China, Vietnam, Cambodia and India. Goods land at Dar es Salaam port, shipped direct from the factory country or consolidated at Jebel Ali in Dubai. From there they reach Kariakoo or move inland. Kifayatullah confirms the TBS PVoC position, route and documents per order.

Kariakoo and the buyers behind Tanzanian lot trade

Kariakoo in Dar es Salaam is one of the biggest wholesale markets in East Africa. Traders there buy in bulk and sell on to retailers across Tanzania and to buyers who come from neighbouring countries. That makes Tanzanian demand broad: family clothing, school wear, shoes, bags and household textiles all move.

Global Pioneer is a Dubai trading company, founded in 2017. We do not have an office, licence or warehouse in Tanzania. We arrange the lot and the sea freight, and your clearing agent takes it from the port. Other East African markets are on our Africa stock lots page.

How a lot travels to Dar es Salaam

Dar es Salaam port is the start of the Central Corridor, which carries cargo inland toward Rwanda, Burundi and eastern DR Congo, and a southern route serves Zambia. We confirm the route and the documents per shipment.

The Tanzania Bureau of Standards runs a pre-export verification programme for regulated goods. Whether your lot falls under it depends on the HS code, so we check before the container is booked. The full sequence is in how to import stock lots to Africa.

Lots that suit Tanzanian wholesale

All lots are new. They come from export surplus, cancelled orders, overruns and end-of-season stock, not from used clothing. B-grade pieces with minor faults are always disclosed. Compare the five origins if you are unsure which source fits your shop.

Single source or mixed container

If you want one product in volume, a direct shipment from the source country is usually simpler. Kariakoo buyers who want variety often ask for a mixed container. We gather goods from two or three sources at Jebel Ali and load them together. If you also sell into Kenya, see our Kenya page. For buyers serving the Congo side of the corridor, read DR Congo stock lots.

Questions buyers ask

Do you sell stock lots inside Kariakoo market?

No. We have no shop, office or agent in Tanzania. Global Pioneer ships from Dubai or the source country to Dar es Salaam, and you sell through your own Kariakoo outlet or network.

Is a TBS PVoC certificate needed for clothing lots?

Some regulated goods need pre-export verification under the Tanzania Bureau of Standards programme. It depends on the HS code. We check your lot and confirm the documents per shipment before loading.

Can a Dar es Salaam shipment go on to Rwanda, Burundi or Zambia?

Yes, many importers use Dar es Salaam as a gateway. The Central Corridor runs toward Rwanda, Burundi and eastern DRC, and a southern route serves Zambia. Transit rules sit with your agent.

Do you supply used clothing bales?

No. Every lot is new and unworn. We sell export surplus, cancelled orders, production overruns and end-of-season stock. Any minor-fault B-grade goods are disclosed before you pay.

Which source country is best for school uniforms and kids basics?

Bangladesh and India both produce a lot of cotton kids wear. India also offers home textiles you can add to the same load. Kifayatullah will show what is available now.

Can I get photos and a packing list before I commit?

Yes. For each lot we share photos, a packing list with sizes and quantities, and the grade. Kifayatullah confirms route and documents once you choose.
