New stock lots for Mogadishu and the Somali coast

Somali traders have bought through Dubai for generations. You can keep that link and add direct shipments from the factory countries.

Short answer: Global Pioneer, a Dubai trading company, supplies new stock lots to Somali buyers from Bangladesh, China, Vietnam, Cambodia and India. Lots ship to Mogadishu, Berbera or Bosaso, either consolidated at Jebel Ali in Dubai or direct from the source country where sailings allow. Kifayatullah confirms the port, route and documents for each order before you pay.

A trade built on the Dubai link

Somalia and Dubai have long trade ties. Dhows from Dubai Creek served Somali Horn ports for a long time, and container lines from Jebel Ali now carry much of the cargo. Bakara market in Mogadishu is the main commercial centre, and its traders buy clothing, shoes, bags and household goods in bulk for shops in the city and beyond.

Global Pioneer has worked from Deira, close to the Creek, since 2017. We have no office, licence or agent in Somalia. We deal with you directly and ship to the port you choose. The Africa stock lot hub lists the other markets we serve.

Ports and route options

Mogadishu port serves the south and centre. In the north, Berbera handles cargo for its region and also runs a corridor toward Ethiopia. Bosaso serves the north-east. We confirm the route and documents per shipment, because sailings to each port vary.

Import paperwork and charges differ by port and region, so ask your clearing agent at the destination what they need. We supply the commercial invoice, packing list and bill of lading for each lot. For the general sequence, see how to import stock lots to Africa.

Categories Somali buyers ask for

Every lot is new: export surplus, cancelled orders, production overruns and end-of-season stock. We do not sell used clothing. B-grade pieces with small faults are listed before you pay. See how the sources compare for price and range.

Why many Somali orders go through Dubai

Consolidation at Jebel Ali lets you combine several categories from different countries in one container. It also suits buyers who already have relationships with Dubai forwarders. When you want one product in volume, a direct shipment can make sense. Buyers who also serve Ethiopia or Djibouti can read the Ethiopia page and the Djibouti page.

Questions buyers ask

Do you ship stock lots to Mogadishu?

Yes. We ship to Mogadishu port, usually from Jebel Ali in Dubai, and direct from the source country where sailings allow. Kifayatullah confirms route and documents per order.

Can you send lots to Berbera?

Yes, Berbera is one of the Somali ports we can ship to. It serves the north and also runs a corridor toward Ethiopia. We check sailings for your lot.

Do you have an office or agent in Bakara market?

No. Global Pioneer has no office, licence or agent in Somalia. We work from Deira, Dubai and deal with buyers directly by WhatsApp and email.

Are the clothes new or second-hand?

New. Our lots come from export surplus, cancelled orders, overruns and end-of-season stock. Minor-fault B-grade pieces are always disclosed before payment. We do not supply used clothing bales.

Which source is best for shoes and bags?

China is the largest base for footwear and bags, and Cambodia also makes travel goods. Kifayatullah can show current lots from both, with photos and packing lists, and suggest a mix for Bakara buyers.

Can I mix Indian textiles and Chinese shoes in one container?

Yes. We consolidate goods from different sources at Jebel Ali and load one container to your Somali port. Kifayatullah confirms the port, route and documents for that order.
