Douala, Mboppi and the inland trade
Douala is Cameroon's commercial capital and its main port. Marché Mboppi is a known wholesale market there, where traders buy clothing, shoes and household goods in bulk. Douala is also the gateway to Chad and the Central African Republic, so many importers sell on to buyers inland. Our customers are wholesalers, importers and retailers who want new goods at lot prices.
Global Pioneer is a Dubai company. We have no office, licence or agent in Cameroon. We source and ship, and your transitaire clears the goods.
BESC and CEMAC: the two things to get right
Cameroon requires an electronic cargo tracking note, the BESC, for shipments. Plan it before loading. Cameroon is also part of the CEMAC customs union, which shares a common external tariff with its neighbours. Duty depends on the HS code of each line, so the packing list must be clear.
- BESC electronic cargo tracking note for the shipment.
- Commercial invoice and packing list with matching lines.
- Bill of lading and certificate of origin.
- HS code and fibre content for each line.
- Transit papers if the goods continue to Chad or the Central African Republic.
We confirm the documents per shipment with you and your transitaire.

Categories that suit Cameroon buyers
Our lots are new goods only: export surplus, cancelled orders, overruns and end-of-season stock. No second-hand clothing. Regular categories are men's, women's and kids' apparel, kids wear, footwear, bags and accessories, and home textiles. Minor-fault B-grade pieces are always disclosed.
If you resell to traders in Chad or the Central African Republic, think about how the lot will be split. Lots packed by size and style in separate cartons are easier to divide between customers than mixed cartons. Ask Kifayatullah for the carton breakdown before you agree.

What is the BESC for shipments to Cameroon?
The BESC is Cameroon's electronic cargo tracking note, required for shipments to its ports. It must be arranged for the shipment, so we plan it with you before loading. We confirm the requirement per shipment.
Can I ship a stock lot through Douala to Chad?
Yes. Douala is the gateway to Chad and the Central African Republic. Tell Kifayatullah the final destination early so the documents match, and your transitaire arranges the transit.
Does the CEMAC tariff apply to stocklots in Cameroon?
Yes. Cameroon is in the CEMAC customs union, which has a common external tariff by HS code. Your transitaire applies the rate for each line. We provide clear HS codes and descriptions.
Douala or Kribi, which port is better for my lot?
Douala handles most general cargo and is closer to the city's markets. Kribi is a deep-sea port used by some services. Kifayatullah confirms the port with the route quote.
Is there a French version of the Cameroon page?
Yes. Read the French page for Cameroon. Both versions cover the BESC, CEMAC and the Douala and Kribi routes. It is written for buyers in Douala and the region who prefer French.
Are your lots for Mboppi traders used clothing?
No. Every lot is new and unworn. They come from export surplus, cancelled orders, overruns or end-of-season stock. B-grade pieces, if any, are listed before you pay.
Do you have an agent in Douala?
No. Global Pioneer is a Dubai trading company with no office, licence or agent in Cameroon. You work with your own transitaire. We ship from the source country or Dubai to Douala or Kribi.
