Stock lots for Casablanca wholesalers and Moroccan importers
You run a wholesale business, an import company or a group of shops in Morocco and want new surplus goods at lot prices. This page shows how Global Pioneer moves them from Asia to Casablanca or Tanger Med.
Who buys lots in Morocco
Moroccan demand for stock lots runs through Casablanca. Derb Omar is the city's wholesale district, where traders buy cartons and bales and sell them on to shops across the kingdom. Importers in Casablanca, Tangier, Fes and Marrakech also buy direct for their own retail chains or for market traders in smaller towns.
Business here runs in Arabic and French. Lire en français if you prefer. For Arabic, see the Arabic Morocco page. Global Pioneer works from Deira, Dubai, and has done so since 2017. We have no office, licence or agent in Morocco. You or your customs broker handle the Moroccan side.
Casablanca or Tanger Med: picking the port
Casablanca port sits next to the main wholesale market, so it suits buyers who sell in and around Derb Omar. Tanger Med is a large transshipment port on the Strait of Gibraltar with strong mainline connections. It suits buyers in the north, and it is often where Asian cargo changes vessel. The table shows how a lot usually reaches you. We confirm the route and documents per order.
| Source | Typical routing | Port of discharge | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bangladesh (Chattogram) | Transships at an Asian hub, then a Mediterranean hub or Tanger Med | Casablanca or Tanger Med | Knitwear and denim surplus |
| China (main export ports) | Mainline service, often via Tanger Med | Tanger Med or Casablanca | Footwear, bags, home goods |
| Vietnam or Cambodia | Transships at an Asian hub | Casablanca or Tanger Med | Sportswear, footwear, travel goods |
| India (west or south coast) | Direct service or via a Mediterranean hub | Casablanca or Tanger Med | Cotton apparel, towels, bedsheets |
| Mixed lot consolidated at Jebel Ali, Dubai | Dubai to a Mediterranean hub | Casablanca or Tanger Med | One container, several sources |
Customs and duty in Morocco
ADII (Administration des Douanes et Impôts Indirects) is the Moroccan customs authority. Your broker files the declaration and pays duty and VAT on arrival. Morocco has free trade agreements with the EU, the US and others, but goods of Asian origin do not benefit from them, so they pay the normal duty for their HS code. Check landed cost line by line before you commit.
Some textiles and footwear face conformity checks by the Ministry of Industry and Trade. Which lines are affected depends on the product, so we confirm per shipment. Keep fibre content labels and origin marks on the goods. The full process sits in our guide to importing stock lots into Africa.
Goods that suit Moroccan wholesale
- Men's shirts, trousers and denim from Bangladesh export surplus.
- Women's and kids wear for back-to-school and summer season restocks.
- Trainers, sandals and bags from Chinese stock lots and Vietnam.
- Towels, bedsheets and home textiles from Indian mills for wedding season demand.
- Travel bags and luggage from Cambodian factories.
Every lot is new and unworn. These are cancelled orders, production overruns and end-of-season stock, not second-hand clothing. Any B-grade cartons are declared before you pay. To compare the five sources side by side, see stock lot source countries compared.

Can I get stock lots shipped to Casablanca from Asia?
Yes. Global Pioneer ships new stock lots from Bangladesh, China, Vietnam, Cambodia and India to Casablanca port. Most cargo transships at an Asian hub, Tanger Med or another Mediterranean port. Kifayatullah confirms the routing and documents for each order before you pay.
Is Tanger Med or Casablanca better for a stock lot?
Casablanca suits buyers who sell near Derb Omar and central Morocco. Tanger Med suits buyers in the north and often has more mainline connections from Asia. We look at your city and the source country and suggest the port per order.
Do Asian stock lots get free trade duty rates in Morocco?
No. Morocco's free trade agreements with the EU, the US and others cover goods that qualify as originating in those partners. Goods made in Bangladesh, China, Vietnam, Cambodia or India pay normal duty for their HS code, so check landed cost first.
Who clears the goods through ADII?
You or your licensed customs broker in Morocco. Global Pioneer has no office in Morocco. We supply the commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and bill of lading so your broker can file the declaration with ADII.
Do textiles need a conformity check in Morocco?
Some textiles and footwear face conformity checks by the Ministry of Industry and Trade. It depends on the product and HS code. We confirm per shipment and keep fibre content labels and origin marks on the goods to help your broker.
Are these lots second-hand clothes?
No. Every lot is new, unworn surplus: cancelled orders, production overruns and end-of-season stock. Any minor-fault B-grade cartons are disclosed before you pay. See the Africa hub for how we grade lots.
Is this information available in French or Arabic?
Yes. Business in Morocco runs in Arabic and French, so this page has a French version and an Arabic version. You can send your enquiry to Kifayatullah by WhatsApp or email with your city, port and category.
