New stocklots for Abidjan and the inland corridor

You buy around Adjamé or supply buyers in Burkina Faso and Mali, and you need lots that arrive with the cargo tracking note in order. Here is how we handle it.

Short answer: Global Pioneer, a Dubai trading company, supplies wholesale stock lots to Côte d'Ivoire from Bangladesh, China, Vietnam, Cambodia and India. Containers go to the Port of Abidjan, or San-Pédro, direct or via Jebel Ali. Kifayatullah confirms the route, the BSC/ECTN cargo tracking note and the ECOWAS tariff documents before each shipment.

Adjamé and the Abidjan buyer

Adjamé market in Abidjan is one of the busiest trading areas in the city, with wholesalers selling clothing, shoes and general goods. The Port of Abidjan is also a gateway to Burkina Faso and Mali, so many Abidjan importers sell to inland buyers too. We work with wholesalers, importers and retailers who want new goods at lot prices.

We are based in Dubai. Global Pioneer has no office, licence or agent in Côte d'Ivoire. We source, document and ship. Your transitaire clears the goods.

The cargo tracking note comes first

Côte d'Ivoire requires a cargo tracking note, known as the BSC or ECTN, for shipments to its ports. It has to be in place for the shipment, so we plan it with you before the container is loaded, not after. Missing it causes delays and costs at the port. We confirm the exact requirement per shipment.

New goods for Ivorian shelves

Our lots are new: export surplus, cancelled orders, overruns and end-of-season goods. We do not supply second-hand clothing. Good fits for Abidjan include men's and women's apparel, kids wear, footwear, bags and accessories, and home textiles. Minor-fault B-grade pieces, if any, are listed in the packing list.

Inland buyers in Burkina Faso and Mali often want the same basics as Abidjan shops: plain T-shirts, trousers, kids sets and sandals. If you sell on to them, ask for lots with simple size runs and neutral colours. They are easier to split between customers.

Questions buyers ask

What is the BSC or ECTN for Côte d'Ivoire?

It is a cargo tracking note required for shipments to Ivorian ports. It must be in place for the shipment, so we plan it with you before loading. We confirm the requirement per shipment.

Can my stock lot go through Abidjan to Burkina Faso or Mali?

Yes. Abidjan is a gateway to both. Tell Kifayatullah the final destination at the start so the documents match the transit, and let your transitaire arrange the inland leg.

Is there a French page for Côte d'Ivoire?

Yes, read the French version for Côte d'Ivoire. Both pages cover the same routes, the BSC/ECTN step and the categories we supply. It is written for buyers who prefer to read about lots, routes and the cargo tracking note in French.

Do you ship to San-Pédro as well as Abidjan?

San-Pédro is possible when a shipping line serves it from the source port. Most lots go to Abidjan because services are more frequent. We confirm the port in the quote.

Are the lots for Adjamé traders new goods?

Yes. All lots are new and unworn: export surplus, cancelled orders, overruns or end-of-season stock. We never supply second-hand clothing, and B-grade pieces are disclosed.

How is duty calculated on stocklots in Côte d'Ivoire?

Côte d'Ivoire applies the ECOWAS common external tariff, with bands by HS code. Your transitaire calculates the duty. We supply HS codes and descriptions per line to make that easier.

Does Global Pioneer have an office in Abidjan?

No. We are a Dubai trading company with no office, licence or agent in Côte d'Ivoire. We ship from the source country or Dubai. Your transitaire handles customs at the port.
