Reputed wholesale suppliers for small retailers in Oman
You run a shop in Oman and need stock you can trust, at a price that leaves you a margin. This page covers how to check a supplier, how goods reach Oman from Dubai, and what we can supply.
What we supply to shops in Oman
- Wholesale stock in fashion, lifestyle and general retail lines from the brands we represent, including YOYOSO and Habits Apparel.
- Stocklots: surplus and end-of-line inventory bought in bulk, which lets a small shop stock up at a lower unit cost.
- Custom B2B sourcing: tell us the product, the quality and the target price, and we source it through our network.
- Store interiors and concept design for a new shop or a refit, using our 8-step customer journey process.
- Franchise options if you want to open under an international brand rather than stock it.
How to check a supplier before you order in Oman
- Ask for the trade licence and check the number on the official register.
- Ask for the VAT or tax registration number where the country has VAT, and check it on the tax authority's site.
- Visit the office or showroom, or ask for a video call from the warehouse.
- Order samples before a full order and keep them as the quality reference.
- Get a written quote that names the price, the delivery term and who pays freight, duty and VAT.
- Ask for two retailer references you can call.
In Oman the business register is the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion register (Oman Business Platform). Oman VAT is 5%, run by the Oman Tax Authority.
How stock reaches Oman from Dubai
Goods go from Dubai to Muscat, Sohar, Nizwa and Salalah by road through the UAE to Oman land borders, which is usually the quickest option for small orders. Larger orders can also go by sea into Sohar or Muscat.
Most goods entering the GCC pay the common external customs tariff of 5% on their value, with some exempt and some higher-rated lines. Ask us which applies to your products before you confirm.
Tips for small retailers in Oman
- Road freight from Dubai suits mixed small orders. Group several lines into one shipment to save on freight.
- Agree in writing whether your price is delivered to your shop or ex-warehouse in Dubai.
- Salalah orders take longer by road. Plan Khareef season stock early.
